Imlay City Area Chamber of Commerce Membership Dues Policy

New members applying for Chamber membership will be assessed a one-time onboarding fee of $25. This fee covers administrative costs for processing membership information, updating the Chamber's website, notifying members of the new addition, and promoting the new member on social media.

Invoice Due Date: Membership dues must be paid by the last day of the month of the member's anniversary.

Late Payment Penalties:

• If payment is not received within 60 days after the invoice date, a 10% late fee will be assessed on the outstanding balance.
• If payment is not received within 90 days after the invoice date, an additional 10% late fee will be applied to the outstanding balance.

• If payment has not been received within 120 days from the invoice date, membership will be terminated. Once terminated, any benefits and services associated with membership will be discontinued.

If a member's membership is terminated due to non-payment and they wish to reapply, the $25 onboarding fee will be reassessed. This fee is required to cover the administrative expenses of reprocessing the membership.

It is the responsibility of the member to ensure that payment is made by the due date. Failure to update contact information or notify the Chamber of payment issues does not excuse members from late fees or termination.

By maintaining membership with the Imlay City Area Chamber of Commerce, members acknowledge and agree to adhere to this membership dues policy.

This policy is effective January 13, 2025.

The Imlay City Area Chamber of Commerce is committed to continuously supporting and serving our local businesses and organizations. In order to better meet the needs of our growing community, comply with the increasing cost of business and to sustain the programs and initiatives we provide; we are making updates to our membership dues structure. These changes will take effect on June 1, 2025.

Below is the updated dues structure:

•Business Membership: $200 per year (previously $150)
•Non-Profit Membership: $150 per year (previously $100)
•Second Business Membership: $75 per year (remains the same)

New Membership Options:

•Home-Based Business Membership: $100 per year
•First-Year Business Membership: $75 per year
•Individual/Couple Supporting Membership: $100 per year
